We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. The Manufacturing Supervisor will lead a team of skilled manufacturing operators and be the primary contact for equipment set up, troubleshooting, process improvements and suggested technical improvements. In this role you will be the primary liaison between manufacturing production teams, engineering, quality, safety, and process excellence to ensure collaboration. The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible to provide technical training to line level employees.

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing principles and techniques.

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including scheduling, production, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Train and mentor production staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement within the manufacturing operation.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new products, processes, and technologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and techniques.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications for production planning and reporting.
