Overview

Saler Project Managers are the primary and key resource for Repligen's field sales activities. They should be finding and targeting new customers, expanding business with current customers and actively driving and managing the commercial and technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Working together with the engineering team, they must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for customer-specific technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. In addition, Saler Project Managers will be gathering technical customers feedback and supporting our engineering teams worldwide in new product development activities.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and Maintain an expert level of knowledge of Repligen products and application areas
  2. Articulate technology and product positioning for both business and technical users
  3. Target and find new customers and leads. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  4. Prepare effective proposals, presentations and demonstrations of Repligen products
  5. Assist the marketing team in preparing marketing materials, plans, and strategies to promote Repligen products
  1. Participate in trade shows and industry events
  2. Respond to commercial, functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  3. Listen, understand and convey customer requirements
  4. Perform technical/product training internally in Repligen and externally at Customer sites
  5. Assist in the design and development of new products and tools
  6. Participate in or lead various internal and external projects
  7. Perform other business-related tasks and assignments
  8. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  9. Help to develop the company’s internal processes and tools (Intranet, Design & Engineering process, Sales & Project Management processes, PDM etc.)

Qualifications

  2. Good understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles & processes
  3. Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  4. Well-Organized with a team-oriented mindset
  5. Excellent communication and people skills
  6. Ability to work outside normal office hours due to differing time zones
  7. Ability to travel mainly in Europe, Asia and US
