Overview

 

The Manager, Finance Operations will be based in the Tallinn, Estonia facility and will provide strategic and tactical financial planning, reporting, and analysis support for the manufacturing site. This role will partner closely with site operations teams to support day-to-day factory performance, monitor costs, and help drive operational efficiency. The Manager will participate in site-level activities such as Gemba walks, tier meetings, and Kaizen events to identify improvement opportunities and ensure financial processes align with business objectives. This role will also assist in budget preparation, forecasting, inventory costing, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

 

  • Act as a finance partner to site Operations leadership, maintaining strong connectivity with daily factory operations to support problem-solving and turn data into actionable insights
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to help inform decision-making and support manufacturing objectives
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to monitor and control costs, support output planning, and assist in managing inventory and capital expenditures
  • Support the preparation of site-level budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reviews in coordination with the FP&A team
  • Monitor and analyze plant performance metrics such as utilization, scrap, overtime, yield, and variances; recommend and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and related cost of sales in compliance with accounting standards and company policy
  • Partner with operations and supply chain colleagues to identify opportunities for cost savings and validate improvement projects
  • Utilize the profit bridge to help explain operational results and highlight key drivers of performance
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and support ongoing projects as required
  • May support junior finance staff informally

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant finance or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and solid understanding of cost accounting principles
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
