Overview

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about HR technology and data-driven problem-solving. As an HR Operations & systems Specialist supporting HR Operations, you will be actively involved in day-to-day support and implementation initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting the implementation of Workday HCM, with a focus on testing, onboarding processes, and developing training resources. After implementation, you will serve as the go-to expert for system maintenance, reporting, and enhancements, ensuring that our HR systems operate efficiently and effectively align with business needs. 

Responsibilities

Workday Implementation  

  • Lead testing efforts for Workday HCM, ensuring accurate functionality and a seamless user experience. 
  • Act as the Onboarding Lead, collaborating with HR and business teams to refine processes, enhance the new hire experience, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.  
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop user-friendly training materials tailored to different audiences. 
  • Support additional phases of the Workday implementation, as needed Post Workday Implementation Go-Live 
  • Be the first point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding users. 
  • Manage and maintain setup values and configurations within Workday. 
  • Identify and implement system enhancements, continuously improving processes. 
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards, delivering actionable insights and ensuring data integrity to drive strategic decision making.  
  • Conduct regular audits and provide ongoing training to ensure data accuracy and user proficiency. 

Europe-Wide Responsibilities 

  • Support the administration of company-wide benefits programs across European locations. 
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of the annual benefits open enrollment process. 
  • Partner with local HR Managers to establish and maintain local HR policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain and update the database of job descriptions to ensure consistency and accessibility. 
  • Prepare and manage compensation and benefits reports and related documentation. 
  • Support the annual merit and performance review processes, ensuring timely data collection and reporting. 
  • Act as liaison with the payroll administrator and ensure timely, accurate exchange of information. 
  • Collaborate with the EU Recruiter on recruitment-related processes and data coordination. 
  • Contribute to various HR projects as assigned, supporting continuous process improvement. 
  • Stay current with European benefits legislation and regulatory changes; assist in compliance audits and process reviews. 
  • Work closely with the EU HR Specialist and the Associate Director of Benefits, Compensation & HRIS to ensure alignment on programs and priorities. 
  • Partner with the EU HR Operations Specialist to ensure smooth HR operations across European entities. 

Breda-Specific Responsibilities 

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files. 
  • Coordinate and support onsite employee engagement and benefit-related events. 
  • Process and manage new hire and termination documentation, reports, and activities. 
  • Co-lead new hire orientation sessions in collaboration with the Facility department. 
  • Draft employment agreements, contract amendments, and other employee correspondence. 
  • Serve as the Benchmark Database Coordinator, ensuring up-to-date and accurate data entry. 
  • Manage the Breda HR entity inbox and ensure timely response to inquiries. 
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related questions, including illness reporting and local processes. 
  • Act as the primary liaison with the payroll administrator for Breda operations. 
  • Administer employee leaves of absence, disability claims, and workers’ compensation processes. 

Qualifications

The successful candidate meets the following criteria:

  • Proven track record in report writing and HR operational support. 
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes and a good understanding of HR operations. 
  • Eagerness to learn new systems and stay updated on HR technology trends, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.  
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve system issues. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
