Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven individual whose knowledge and skills will help us take our Global Supply Chain team to the next level. This position is responsible for leading the Supply Chain efforts at the Estonia site including production planning, scheduling, material planning, procurement of raw materials, and distribution/logistics needs. Additionally, this person would lead the effort to establish and drive an effective SIOP process. Starting with the customer’s timely delivery and proactive communication in mind, this individual is focused on process improvement, standardization, team building, collaboration and system-driven processes that ensure efficient utilization of our operational resources.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Supply Chain Team, which includes Planning, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics (<10 employees)
  • Proactively anticipate and identify supply chain risks and develop process updates and resolution plans
  • Partner with the operations team to establish and maintain a frozen production schedule
  • Execute with intensity and customer focus to achieve and maintain >= 95% on-time delivery
  • Collaborate with corporate sourcing team for contracting and partnership with strategic suppliers
  • Develop and maintain in-process metrics in order to drive root cause counter measures and drive proper date and data integrity with SAP
  • Partner with operational leaders across the Artesyn Network to develop the SIOP processes and report out to key stake holders monthly
  • Monitor inventory and safety stock levels to ensure we have proper signals driving the system and minimize E&O exposure.
  • Identify gaps in process which inhibit system-driven supply chain workflows.
  • Lead strategic Supply Chain projects to enhance the value of our product offering
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to provide accurate information, change management and communicate critical issues.
  • Recruit and develop staff to execute department functions; ensure effective utilization of resources through consistent performance management, mentorship, and rewards and recognition practices
  • Drive the success of the site by being a strong leader and mentor, not just a people manager

Qualifications

 

  • Must speak, write and understand both Estonian and English Language
  • B.S. degree or equivalent experience; degree in Supply Chain Management/Operations a plus.
  • At least 6-10 year’s experience  in a similar role
  • Excellent conceptual understanding of the principles and operations of ERP systems and the integration of company functions – SAP a plus.
  • Understanding and evaluation of the contents and calculations on the MRP (supply vs. demand) display or report; including how safety stock influences calculations of projected on hand balances in MRP.
  • Understanding of the distinction of independent and dependent demand to ERP.
  • Knowledge of capacity requirements planning (CRP); Detailed CRP knowledge (work centers, labor and machines, routings, setup times, run, standards and move times) a plus.
  • Advanced skills related to data extraction, data analysis and use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to set context, simplify complex concepts, and drive diverse teams to decision and action.
  • Ability to effectively lead and facilitate meetings with cross functional teams and drive appropriate actions.
